Hydraulic shaping presses

Our workshop has recently completed the production of two hydraulic shaping presses, each delivering a powerful force of 150 tons. These robust machines are ready for our customer in Northern Italy.

A key feature of these presses is an integrated lock valve. This essential component maintains a consistent oil level within the cylinder throughout the entire pressing cycle. This ensures uniform pressure and precise shaping results, especially during extended operations.

Recognizing that the customer’s material tends to compress and reduce in thickness during processing, we have incorporated a sophisticated monitoring system. This system utilizes two pressure switches. These switches continuously monitor the minimum and maximum processing pressure. When the pressure drops below a certain threshold, the pressure switch detecting the minimum pressure sends a signal to the hydraulic control unit. This triggers the introduction of a precise amount of oil into the circuit. This process continues until the preset maximum pressure is restored, ensuring consistent shaping despite material compression.

Given the intended use in long production cycles, we have equipped the hydraulic power unit with a high-efficiency heat exchanger. This critical component effectively prevents the hydraulic circuit from overheating, ensuring consistent performance and prolonging the lifespan of the machinery, even under continuous operation.

These hydraulic shaping presses also feature an advanced separate speed management system. This innovative system allows precise adjustment of the point at which the press transitions from the rapid approach speed to the controlled working speed. This optimizes cycle times and ensures accurate shaping, catering to the specific requirements of the material being processed.

For operator safety and compliance with regulations, these hydraulic shaping presses are equipped with fixed rear protection nets and opening front nets. The front nets are further enhanced with integrated safety sensors. These sensors immediately halt the press’s operation if the front net is opened during the pressing process, ensuring a secure working environment for the operator.
